I do my best to rarely direct issue to you, and to instead solve it with my own two hands.
But the gravity and consequences of our diplomatic voyage to Il Modo reach beyond my own two hands.

Marcellus Saenus has promised permanent tributary of our Well Water - a military asset - from Ephia's Well to the Duchy of the Modini. In the same breath, he acknowledged their independence and legal right to the whole of the Sea of Pearls and our coastline. All in exchange for a bucket of Eel Oil a month, and a non-functional cannon.

I come to you with a request for permission to pressure the Purple League into rescinding their support of him and re-assigning his seat: a less messy and more stable conclusion to the threat he presents than lighting the Well aflame with accusations of treason. In this, I ask your wisdom and your blessing for the effort if you deem the situation grave enough.
