In the name of Warad, the most vigilant, the merciful, this servant sends you greetings.

He has been given much time to reflect since our conversation in the Plaza with Domnhall on the last election. It is a tragedy, plain and simple, Rosie. The Asterbadian Movement was ready and growing at the start of the election, yet, it suffered many planned and catastrophic setbacks, most of which were self-inflicted. Some have come forth to discredit our candidate. Yes, mistakes were made, but his errors were light in comparison to the twin betrayals that he suffered during his candidacy.

The active efforts of Estellise of the Tower and Aubrey of the Rose proved decisive in destroying the reputation of the candidate and subverting our efforts to gain what would have been the best chance at seating an Asterbadian Legate in half a year. With this in mind, he is curious as to why such a thing has occurred, Rosie. He had thought of those two accords, the Rose were united with the League of White in the cause of uplifting the people. He sees members of the Cinquefoil within our very office and within the Tablet. Could you inform this servant, as you are a longer serving member of the League than He, what is the character of our relationship with the Cinquefoil in a historical sense, and if any contact between our League and their higher leadership, such as the Grandmaster, exists?

If we are to begin the effort towards victory, we must win at least one of these two pillars of the accord and they, the Rose this servant means, appear the most amenable to our message. However, if obstructionist elements within their lower ranks, such as Aubrey of the Rose, continue to sabotage the people's efforts in asserting themselves, we must have some means of recourse. If that should consist of securing a reprimand from her leaders or directives to cease the rampant extortion of our League come election time, we would do well to secure it at any price.

It is not a failure of politics that faces us, Rosie, this servant fears we face a barrier of personages. Persons whom seem to desire their own advancement at the expense of their organization and ours. He who writes to you now thinks that perhaps whilst the Cinquefoil may yet be redeemed, it will require pressure, if you have any information that may prove useful in providing leverage in this matter, it would prove an extraordinary gift to the League.
