Live and drink. I write you so as to arrange a meeting between our two persons. The topic pertains to the election, and is thus somewhat urgent. I do not presume to rank highly among your priorities, and indeed commend the work you have done in preserving order in the city in these deplorable circumstances. I imagine you are as tired of politics as anyone, so I mean to keep the discussion brief.

I've heard much about you, and in truth, I am glad this is the case. That the Leagues can grow and foster candidates besides those of the Accord Signatories, now that they are finally free of that shadow, is a blessing.
