Respectable Apothar Azimi,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and better spirits. The case of Marl the Brooker is now closed with the best ending this one thinks we could have hoped for - the Prime Brooker found and removed from this world, praise the Law. In that regard, this one must thank you for confirming his suspicions about the circumstances we discussed in the Tower - it was exactly the last thing this one needed to spring the trap.

This one would also like to apologise to you personally, Apothar - he promised to call for you specifically, but at the time he called Marl into the trap, Apothar Cosine arrived on the scene right behind him, apparently with something to discuss with the Lieutenant. As such, he was ordered to detain Marl and was unable to send anyone for you - Lieutenant being of higher rank and Salvatore the Inquisitor being another person to guard the suspect. Immediately afterwards, Marl decided to attack us all by summoning an Abomination, confirming our suspicions.

This one hopes that there will be more opportunities to work together in the future, despite what happened now - this one is glad that the Apothar's opinion of the Forth has changed because of his actions.
