As Maribeh is upon us the time has come for Mandate considerations, to set the tone of what is to come for the Maribeh Allotment. Where as previously this Mandate was discussed in person given the gravity of the situation it was deemed prudent that there was documented record. Per tradition as Sol Auk speaks a Scribe is translating his dictations for your discretionary considerations. To borrow the cadence of Astronomer and to speak with Candor:

Perhaps you have me confused with the Banda Rossa, or perhaps you are the kind of hunter to employ bow, trap and net when the lure might suffice instead. Holding the allotment over my head does not motivate me. Truth motivates me, and there's enough in your report to provoke further investigation. That's what will happen, and the results of that will be revealed come the Maribeh Allotment, assuming I'm still alive to deliver them.

As for any upcoming Janissary activities-- you should be more upset with the fact that you learned of them from someone who was not me, rather than being kept in the dark at all. I have my guesses as to their identity, but I'll not press on the matter. Not at present. Instead, I will simply say that the Fourth Legion has the matter in hand, and if you were to be apprised of all the threats that never come to pass, you would have even less time than you do now.  The moment this goes beyond that, you would have been read in, so to speak. Sol Auk has no confusion. He knows well as you said many times past and in proven practice - You do not pursue for the money.  It is why such a collection shared.

As you notice though the matter of such was mentioned for passing on to your superiors in the event your mission came to difficulty, or you to pass. Such a speak of dinar for their benefit. As after all you were not the one to bankroll such an operation either.

In so far as the Janissary mission itself it is not a matter of upset. Stonefolk do not traffic in such a thing. Nor is it a doubt of the Fourth Legion's capabilities of seeing it forward. The utmost confidence is had.

It is more a matter of planning on Sol Auk's end. Logistics is of course Baz'eels purview but knowing potential hot spots and potential outcomes - these things all shift the markets in their own subtle way. The more that is known, the more that can be accounted for. Trade routes, expected shipments, being able to see caravan immediately dispatched upon success, and more are all hinged upon what is known and can be prepared for.
