A letter is dropped outside the Garrison addressed to Scarbork by an invisible entity

Dearest Scarbork,

I sit in the Krak some nights drinking a glass of red wine at the bar watching the world go by, watching the people organise their little trips, watching what I imagine to be criminals plotting their crimes and heroes planning to thwart them like unsung heroes in the night.

Will they succeed? Will they root out the evil in this new place we call 'Home' we might never know - but we do know one thing you're a guard and your job is clearly stated, uphold the law, stop crime et cetera, et cetera.

I write to you because I see you running around town, screaming, hollering, axe white knuckle gripped, awaiting your next meal so to speak which in my mind I imagine to be a savage beating, perhaps that will get you the recognition you want, the recognition you deserve?

Are you a violent man Scarbork? Did you have a rough childhood? Did your Father used to beat you mercilessly or were you perhaps bullied during your childhood?

Did you ever catch the one named "Dribbler" or whatever name this lunatic named himself? I did enjoy hearing you over the airways screaming "Dribbler was supposed to die!" I confess a smile crept over my lips.

I believe you to have bloodlust and a violent nature do you do it because you enjoy making men and women submit before you? That sort of power is something that I am sure most men or women would want.

I wonder what you would do if I offered you 1000 Dinari to bring me a vial of Palamon's blood - would you accept, forgoing the oaths you have likely taken to protect the citizens of the Well? Perhaps then I can stop fantasizing about this glass of wine being something it isnt.

I grow more hungry by the day, living in civilization is not like it was when we were all scrimping and scraping trying to survive in the desert - atleast then I would sometimes find a lonely - desperate straggler that I could pretend to help before feasting on their rotting flesh.

I hope to hear from you, please leave a letter down in the Creep for me.

With love,
The Butcher.

The men of the fourth legion who are capable have a violent nature. It is why when the superiors and legates evaluate us my competancy will be deemed higher. This  strange  new concept of law can't work if its enforcers are pacifists like the ash folk violent men are needed to maintain it.  I grew up in the rings the kind of ring where soft men died or were robbed. Prior to the ring fall I would have taken all of this man's blood with ease for half as much. The world has changed and so have I. Why would I risk losing a decent job for 1000 dinar? I recently got paid the same amount just to give my personal assurance someone's murderer would be apprehended if they got murdered.

However with this new job is a new set of colors new boss with a certain set of expectations. However the need for my skill set is very present. The story of Dribble is a long one that I'd love to share over a drink.
