Ring 92 event, December 12th (or 13th), evening GMT

I'm putting this up far in advance to inform people ahead of time because to attend this event your character must have completed the Ring 92 challenge. This will obviously contain some spoilers for this specific ring and the mysteries surrounding it so keep this in mind when discussing it in public. Expect a (relatively) long event.  Later on I will update this post with more details and a confirmed date.

For now, as follows, sent to those who have completed the Ring 92 challenge from this moment on:

One night in Ring 99: bone meal on the wind like ash after a wildfire. The grinding of molars signifying skeletal laughter from voiceboxes long since atrophied. Accompanying this is sent out a letter to live ringrunners who have caught glimpse of the pale city on the horizon, titled AN INVITATION TO THE TRANSIENT TRESPASSER. It is written in black ink stained here and there with ochre-colored flecks of blood: the dried spills of a macabre meal... Inside it, what appears to be a copy of a passage derived from a holy book of dread.

Behold ye, beyond the loom of an unlit horizon of a grandly still world,
There rises such sight of a magnificent edifice of bleached bone,
The path guarded by a many-ribbed gate with carnelian hinges,
Ye look upon the vista of a city beyond the pale serving as seat to a great prince,
Marvel, ye visitor, and despair, for woe to your bones if ye have come unannounced...

It seems this mysterious letter may serve as an invitation to a strange and otherworldly court...

This is confirmed for the 12th of December,  starting sometime after 5 PM GMT. Runtime will be a while; not sure how long exactly, but about the usual for me.

As stated before, your character must have completed the 92 challenge to be able to partake in this event.

The entirety of this event will be permadeath, unless specifically told otherwise.

Expect great danger, interesting.. activities, and the chance for unique rewards.

No streaming.

Due to a recent set of incredible death tolls not of my devising  ;), it's unlikely there'll be enough players for this event who will meet the requirements to have this be as grandiose as I would like. I don't want to delay running it either, so I'll be removing the requirement of having had to complete ring 92 and instead the requirements will be that:

1) Your character cannot be an alt (eww)
2) Your character must be a minimum of level 8.
