Well, unfortunately for me, I've lost all interest in this guy. I liked him originally, I liked the idea of a Mystrylite priest wanting everyone to accept Mystryl since they're under Her protection with the shield and all that.

But then I joined the auxillary, I started to become less and less of an activist of the mystryl faith and more of a subservient member of the Spellguard. It's been slowly killing my drive to play this guy, and even if I were to leave the Auxillary I doubt much would change in my interest in playing him. This was my first 'real' cleric attempt, and I don't think I did a good job of portraying the faith or aiming to get more followers.

When he was actively being a priest, yes, he was loads of fun :) Not sure if he belonged in the Auxiliaries though, if I'm totally honest. Great character, though, regardless. Hope they decide to make an npc out of him in the auxiliary hq. Can't wait to see what you flush out next! :D

Having a current member of the Auxiliary, I can tell you this: being subservient doesn't have to be strictly that.

Yes the Spellguard (or any other faction) has it's strict NPC's that follow and enforce rules, but there is nothing that says you can't bend, break or create new ones for the sake of drama.

After, all despite this server being a video game, drama always makes for interesting headlines within the community.

I liked Griswald. He was an asshole to Dominique and I loved it.

I hope that your next character is as memorable as this one.

Griswald was always a bit confusing for me, I liked the idea of a Mystryl cleric when you first pitched it, but you never seemed to do much priestly stuff for him. When you joined the Auxilary, I had thought that you might join the School of War, but you joined the Engineering side despite your character not having any interest in Engineering. On top of that, you never really put much of a Mystrylite spin on his Auxilary duties.

I can see how you would burn out going the way you were.

Hopefully your next character truly inspires you!
