Amelia Bly - Another Dina Character, Reporter, Detective, and Sell-out

That was a fun ride.  Unfortunately, the writer of the Sanctuary Inquirer is dead.  She had a crazy story going from a publicly denouncing the Spellguard to becoming one of their officers.  She was an extremely religious person who was taught that they way to paradise at Savras' side was to always pursue the truth, no matter the cost.  Bly worked as a civil servant for a while, digging up dirt about as many people as she could and publishing it.  The Spellguard and the Gerrard Vaughan got the worst of it (thanks to all of you for stirring up so much trouble.) When Savras died at the same time as Mayor Bresley, her whole world was thrown into chaos.  She decided she wanted to do whatever it took to survive until she found an escape from her own fears of becoming a thrall and losing her mind and soul.  She decided that the best escape would be Final Sanctuary.  Not being a competent swordsman nor wealthy, she decided the best way to get to Final Sanctuary would be through the Spellguard.  Bly ended up becoming an Inspector for the Spellguard through some hard work and possibly by blackmailing an Agent.  But she was a casualty along the way of the Steps.

I want to thank everyone who humored me by letting me interview them for the paper and helped investigate crimes.  Thanks especially to the players of Roginald Maccay, Claire Chambers, Gerrard Vaughan, Alice Fairclow, for all the fun interactions and stirring up trouble for me to write about.  There were definitely more of you, but my memory is trash.  And thanks to DMs Kinslayer, Derfo, Samophlange, Ironside, Elmo, and Halfbrood for all the cool events and helping me out.  The best take away from this character I got was that characters who held strong beliefs and who weren't afraid to impose them on others made the server much more interesting They always stand firm by what they believed and were forces of nature when they got into fights over it.  And most importantly, they always gave me something interesting to put in the Sanctuary Inquirer!

Unfortunately, literally all of my screenshots are of other people for the Inquirer and most of them have me blocked out intentionally.  So I've got nothing to post besides my loot.

I loved Amelia. An exceptionally well-played, and very well put together PC who felt so real. Her interactions with Alice were really some of the best RP I've had on here. They helped make Alice even more emotionally confused than she already was. >___> Thank you for helping to make this game so good and magical.

Amelia was very cool, and caused a little bit of conflict of her own in addition to writing a very interesting and entertaining newspaper on IC events!
