Animal Companion Disapearing?

Hello!


My last two animal companions, Stone Lizards, have disapeared randomly in combat. There is no log of them being killed by a creature, they just go from full health to "poof".


For reference, I have the FE: Beast. That shouldn't effect them, as It did not a few years ago when I last played something like my current character.


I've dropped 800 xp on them, and they don't last longer than like 10 minutes? Cheers!
