Kobold PC error at Upper spawnpoint

OK, so I have a non-app kobold character whose last spawnpoint was at Thomas Alqvin's inn. As that spawnpoint is no longer in existence, it defaulted to the spot in Upper - where you normally proceed via dialogue with the enthrallment tester NPC.

The problem comes at the end of that dialogue, where the PC is prevented access along with the OOC message:

Your kobold has taken level(s) in an invalid class. You must make a formal application with the DM team if you wish to play a kobold druid, wizard, monk, or paladin.

The kobold PC in question, however, is a level 5 pure sorcerer. More details upon request.

I don't know what that could mean but just ask a DM for a port someplace more sensible, I don't think this is a problem that will happen often.
