Hey folks, new player here. I'm reaching out for some help because, honestly, I've tried as much as I can manage to with my limited technical know-how in fixing this problem. For some reason I can't seem to access the server. Every time I try to get in I get the same error message:

"SERVER NOT RESPONDING: Connection Timed Out"

Let me run down some facts real quick to get them out of the way:
- I'm playing a GOG copy of the Diamond Edition. I've gone into "nwncdkey" manually to replace the given keys with their proper multiplayer equivalents.
- I've tried launching from both the EFU Launcher and direct connecting via the standard client. Neither work and both produce the same error message.
- I've tried restarting my computer, my router, and reinstalling NWN. No effect.
- My connection seems to be working just fine otherwise, no errors anywhere else.
- My game itself seems to be working properly.

Any chance someone may have an idea of what's afoot here? I'd love to jump in and play ASAP but I honestly have no idea where to go from here.

Generally if you get timeout, it means you aren't even reaching the server properly. If you actually had problems being blocked or otherwise, it would give something else. Unless you actually don't receive any response. Do you have a firewall or anything similar? Run nwn in administrator mode just in case.

Another thing is, do you mean you've gotten individual cdkey from gog for multiplayer? This isn't the issue here yet atleast, since it would likely say that your key is in use if it was, or blocked.

Generally it sounds your IP address for server or port settings could be wrong. Right now I don't got time to check what the new servers address is, but you may need to check it.

Hey, problem solved!

I hadn't considered that the port settings were to blame, but apparently my player file had been set to 5120 instead of 5130. Everything works like a charm now.
