It could be cool if the old shop was converted to be one of those properties that councilors can rent, so if a necromancer type PC got on the council they could take up there... that is if DMs don't have greater plans for the area of course!!

I am all for this. A spooky abandoned tradehouse/inn would be interesting, a good opponent to the Blue Mushroom.
