Three Fang Keep vertical climb zone

Hello, went on the quest "Three Fang Keep" today and ran into a problem when trying to progress backwards to the beginning of the quest. You can progress forward and skip a lot of the monsters (or so I think, as this was the first time I ran this quest), by using your grappling hook to vertically climb upwards and run across the roofs of the keeps and using the grapple gun more to progress horizontally across the keeps.

However, upon reaching the third keep and our group dying in our valiant attempts in finishing the quest, when trying to move backwards across the roofs of the third keep back to the second I could not find any horizontal grapple zone to shoot my gun across the way to retreat from the quest. To add on to this, I don't know if this is a problem on the second keep moving backwards to the first as well.

I would like to hope that this is fixed soon, as we had to contact a DM to be able to leave the quest, as we were too weak to continue fighting the monsters in the rest of the keeps on their lower floors, and would have most likely ended up dying more if we hadn't been able to contact one.
