Increase Turn Resistance on PC undead

Hey! With Thomas being dead, finding bones / corpses  in great numbers is a rather large hassle, especially considering that only 1 perk gives them per a rest, and even then that's every 20-30 minutes.

With that in mind, PC skeletons are CL 3, and most other undead are the same level or less. Simply put, any level 6 cleric or paladin can immediately destroy at a minimum of 9 undead with at least 12 charisma. 'Beefier' undead such as Orcs or Orgres require a higher level cleric - a level 8 to effectively vaporize. However, those undead are usually only found on quests, as random drops.

Necromancy, especially for sorcerers, is an all or nothing focus. Having most if not all of your undead - Your primary tool - destroyed by a low level cleric spamming one button is, in my opinion, stupid.

With that in mind, I'd suggest that any undead animated from a consumable - Goblins, Kobolds, Archers, Warriors, Orcs, and Ogres - be granted turn resistance, the amount up to y'all.

Clerics and Paladins would still have a much easier time fighting undead, considering 'bless weapon', 'Negative energy protection', and so forth, but they would need to be high level to vaporize the primary tool of Necromancers.

And no, I haven't had any fights with clerics or paladins that is causing this suggestion.

My recollection from eons past is that the Challenge Rating of animated undead (and all OTHER summons as well) was artificially decreased in order to prevent them from inappropriately spiking the difficulty of quests where they're used.

It's my assumption therefore that the effect of turn undead on animated/summoned creatures was simply overlooked. This would be one appropriate way to amend that mistake (if indeed it was...).

Modifying Turn Undead to act on base attack bonus, or creature hit points or some similar metric, instead of creature CR, might also be good solutions.

I don't normally advocate many mechanical changes, and if there is a turn resistance increase I think it should be minor, but from personal experience a level 5+ cleric's turn undead has a very high chance of destroying an entire troupe of 5 skeletons which take a large sum of gold and investment of time to prepare for combat. A slight increase to the difficulty would improve the longevity of some of the coolest, and often friendless, villains of the server.

Maybe adding an option while improving undead to increase turn resistance.

Last I recall the undead actually had class levels, so they should have turn resistance via HD, that was a few weeks ago when I used an animate dead item on an orc corpse that I found in a box.
