Tyura had an awesome run and a very fun end. It's not often one gets to fulfill a long-term goal of the PC in their final moments. I created the PC with the intention of trying to start a new civilization away from Sanctuary but Jaysef's life was a tumultuous one with a long standing hatred for the Drow race. Part of the reason for his bombastic claim of Traensyr was to try and erase all trace of them from existence.

Born into slavery for the reputations of the chessentan people as warriors he was sold by drow to a Frost Giant who used him as a gladiator, before being sold to a tribe of northern barbarians as fodder. Working his way south he was then sold to Thayans and from there his entire life was war and battle. When he earned his freedom in the end of the world he lived the best day of his life. He got drunk on a beach and even without the sunset just listened to the tide without a whip or a prod or anyone telling him what to do. From there he made his way to Sanctuary and worked for the Red Guild for many years as a lowly adventurer and envoy at Lopboblibop, before a strange twist of fate saw him back with the Shield's dropping. He turned into a cranky old man yelling at everyone of how the Red Guild should be celebrating the world to conquer and not bickering over the vaults. And then marched out to claim Traensyr which launched a wild and crazy career.

Having killed them at Traensyr, having killed them in a DM event with the Ghaunadauran Rebel Drow that DMs ran for an awesome Upper vs. Lower royal rumble,  He had attempted a plan to recruit a local drow as his marshal giving it enough power to draw the ire of the entire populace to cause them to kill it. Instead the chance to free and openly draw the blood of a real life drow threatening the entire populace's faces was just too good to pass up and struck home.

It was a short lived battle but he drew first blood and it was the first time he had a chance to face down a real, non-thrall drow in combat since his childhood. Because of the declaration of war he could no longer pursue the facade and a rumble was required.

Thanks to those involved in the crazy hamlet project in all three incarnations, thanks for the Red Guild for being so awesome, and thanks for all the putting up with my coming and going as I handle EFU vs. RL.

Here's a shot of his most precious and prized piece of equipment, which I got from the charity chest on day one and perfectly fit my rust-themed PC.
