A hideous old woman arrives in the Worm Pits. She carries nothing with her other than flies, a slithering black viper and a deep hatred towards everything that lives.

Her past would be better forgotten, but she remembers it at every breath, at every glimpse upon the flesh of the living. The times when they turned their backs to her, when she most needed and none cared. After years caring and tending the village and her people, closing their wounds, seeing the sick children...

... they left her when the plague took her body, deforming her skin and embracing her close to death. She prayed to many powers, she cried to many gods. She promised her soul and her breath. Although even the vilest of energies seemed to mock her tears, denying her any means of mercy.

It was in the last turn of fates that she was answered. The entity that attuned to her was a source of primal feminine wrath. A Queen of unending suffering and of eternal wasting.

Miranda did not die, but what was left from her village now rots with haunting blight. The ghosts of its bitter bile still echoing everywhere she goes. She ages but the anger does not fade.
All righty, folks!

It was me, granny. Ok, everyone knew, I did not fool anyone. Sorry for the ones that I had to say I was not who I were. I wanted to turn off OOC attention for a while, I really needed the vacation. And I enjoyed it. I hope you did as much.

I think Miranda was somewhat one of my best attempts of hagging about. With her I developed a bit more of my concept on building a witch that cared little else other than her worship. I soloed most of the time and even so I managed to keep people involved with my crazy plots. It was good to be at least free from all the questing warbands at least. Actually, in my first attempt in doing a warband quest with her today ended up in a terribly unforgiving death.

Also, brewing potions is fun! If you never tried, you should start.

Special thanks to NC and the DM team that fueled my initial plot of empowering the worms (a pity I never met our mutual creation) and to Meldread that managed to leave Miranda's mark to last longer than her death (I didn't meet this one either). AMB and VS also get my heart for helping my dream of being part of a coven to happen at least. I must hug the goblin and kobold players that I met as well, they made Miranda's story incredibly fulfilling with their appearances. I wish they had done screenies, they were my best customers.

All the other people that I did not mention the name, but that were also important for Miranda's story, my thanks.

Small Edit: A main goal was to rethink the idea of buffbot. I made her the sorcerer that most quest groups would look for (with a couple of flavorful spells) and instead of buffing players, I gone to buff monsters. I call it the Sorcs' vengeance.

Now, screenies!

Inquisitor

About time someone took the spotlight off VS. Well done.

Garem

This was a very creative and interesting way of going about witchcraft for sure! Hats off to you.

Zango_Unchained

I didn't get to throw her out of the worm pits :(

redo

Thanks for interested play with her. Everywhere i have met her, it was really funny for me. Simply thanks!

Pentaxius

A great hag. Everything about her had flavor and taste.

Doc-Holiday

Events constantly conspired to keep my Ilmateri away from her. I had plans to crush you with mercy and charity!

Canzah

Sadly our few interactions didn't pan out so well.

Still thought of her as a cool hag-blood though!

As Tobit found out, that just makes Miranda hate you more.

Fun PC Granny.  You really added something to the usually mundane wormpits.  You always had me on my guard - didn't know if that snake of yours was going to just decide to bit the fuck out of me or not.

Yalta

Really enjoyed our interactions.
