Weapon Enahncer does not work

Accessible Steam vent quest, in the Worm Pitts.  The Weapon Enhancer does not enhance, enchant or alter weapons in any way.  Making the quest quite deadly for a 2-5 group with no wizard/sorc., which unless you metagame the quest needs , would not know you must take along.

Just tried it- though I had gauntlets on, no weapon equipped. There was a message saying my weapon was enhanced, but no gots.

I was with efuincarnate when we tried this thing. It did not seem to work regardless of how I interacted with it. I suppose it's possible we didn't click it twice quickly enough or something. Have not wanted to try it again until I was sure the bug was fixed.
