For anyone who would like to make a dwarven PC but want to have an already established connection with some other dwarves this opportunity is for you.

There is room for, at most, 6 5  dwarven brothers of Torrak Thunderheart. The key points to note is that you will be a Gold Dwarf, born under the Thunder Blessing (a blessing that causes high birthrate among dwarves who carry it) and for the most part venerate Moradin is the key religious figure as is customary in Gold Dwarf society. Recently got asked if sisters would be ok too, and that is perfectly fine. No set limit on the number of male dwarves, but only five slots left for male Thunderheart brothers.

The Thunderheart clan honors the tradition of creating ancestral weapons and objects upon the death of kinsmen more so than most. Whereby upon the death of a Thunderheart clansman, the remains are cremated and crafted into a weapon, armor, or some long-lasting object of metal or stone such as a door, gate, wall. Usually something related to who and what they were in life. It is said that the more heroic and blessed who undergo this process bestow magical sentience upon the ancestral weapon/object created and their persona is imprinted in some obscure manner known only to the dwarven sages.

Gold Dwarves are prideful to a fault. They believe themselves to belong to the greatest race on Toril, the dwarven, and the Gold Dwarves to be the greatest of the dwarven races. Tradition is of chief concern to a gold dwarf. Records of family lines go back for countless generations, each meticulously kept. Having not had to move or expand beyond the Great Rift until the Thunder Blessing caused overcrowding but enjoying vibrant trade with other industrious races, they were, until recently, the most secure in their fate and future of the dwarven races. Traditional they would set up mock-clan-like holds in human cities to emulate clan life while away from the clan.

The loss of the kingdoms, treasures, traditions and noble lineage of the entire dwarven race of the surface and Upperdark would most likely weigh heavily upon the few remaining dwarves. Perhaps in some creating a stronger sense of kinship, understanding, and drive to preserve and regain what was lost.

I would like to maintain the Thunderheart clan as one of high, noble standards as far as personality and concept. So no scottish accented dwarves please. As you are hooking into a pre-existing PC and family, please only roll up into this if you have a concept you think you will enjoy and play potentially longterm. If you aren't sure, it might be better to make a dwarf of whatever fitting subrace you prefer, of another clan.

Lastly, if you decide you would like to roll up a Thunderheart dwarf, please talk to me on IRC or in PM first!

Updated with greater detail for those interested. You can still get in on the fun with a dwarf who isn't a gold dwarf or one who does not originate from the Thunderheart clan.

Great time to be a dwarf, big fresh plots, time to carve the future of the dwarven people in the fresh(old?) setting!

Five Thunderheart brothers left to be played.

Have a total of 4 PC's involved in this so far(only one Thunderheart brother besides myself, 3 non-brothers)! Be a part of the first chapter of the dwarven story in EFU4! Laying the groundwork and tradition for the dwarves to follow.
