A new possibility opens for you to write about your character and perhaps find yourself enriched by the event.

Guidelines: The same as are mentioned in Winstons post. 500-1000 words (1-2) pages in 3rd person narrative. Only for current PCs.

Topic: Write a narrative/scenario about a crime your character would commit/has committed.

Where to?

Post your stories to the "Personal character notes" forum section where I can read them, either to an existing character thread you have or making a new one. Furthemore, send me a personal message on forums where you state your interest in the contest and link me the URL to your storypage.

EXTENDED Deadline:
Sunday 11th, August, 2013 is the last day to submit these. After that I won't accept them for the contest!

I'll be extending the deadline to Sunday 11th if anyone is still pondering to write a story.

So far I have received quite a lot of stories. Good! I haven't had time to read all of them yet and will use couple days after deadline to go through them all. Except to hear more about this on monday/tuesday.

I received a total of 22 stories. Majority of them were nice, well written  stories and only couple forgot to put the URL link leading to the story.

The goal of this event was (for me) with small effort to learn about as many characters and their personalities as I can through a method that does not necessarily require me to follow you in the game. Although the topic of the story was "crime" and I had left the  definition of such vague on purpose, many of you managed to portray your characters way of thinking and personality through your stories at the same time as you told a story about a crime. It was also to see in how many different ways you could interpret crime.

Although Topic (Write a narrative/scenario about a crime your character would commit/has committed) allowed fictional tales of your characters future (or past) as well as real events that have happened in his backstory, I would have wished that those of you who submitted fictional stories would have mentioned their stories take place in alternative future/past because it left me a bit puzzled regarding your current alignment. Maybe it was my fault to not have asked you to do so.

All of those who took part in this, your character has received a letter. The time set for this event is the following. Contact me in IRC (Elmo) after the event it if you couldn't make the time.
