Troy believes himself to be a soldier in a vast and powerful empire pacifying petty nations. These conquests are justified by Troy's belief that they will bring about an age of peace and prosperity to all the realms.

Eventually he would get his hands on a ring and make his way into the city. He made his inclination to join the Watchers known immediately and managed to get in a day before the shield was moved and checkpoints were set up. Just in the nick of time. As a Watcher he aspired to make life in Sanctuary as miserable for its denizens as possible by taking the authoritarian doctrine of the Watchers & Warders to its limit. He hoped the weary stragglers would become so demoralized that in time they'd welcome the embrace of his masters.

I tried to put subtle hints of his enthrallment into Troy's characterization. He would often stop in place before turning and walking in a new direction, repeat words and whole sentences multiple times, and there were little wordplays:



Once inside Sanctuary he only left once to join his fellow W&W's on an expedition into the Pyrimo.





It was nearly a disaster because his substance withdrawals decided to kick in right before the fights began. Luckily I was able to sneak out half way through the event after an embarrassing display of vomiting and 3 wisdom score RP to get my fix.






After it was all said and done he needed a way back in. He rolled up on Shren in Lower while in rat form and something amazing ensued.



Unfortunately Shren would be captured a few days later by Sanctuary. Troy killed him to maintain his secret, fearing Shren would trade what he knew of Troy in exchange for leniency.




Things started to get flaky around the edges of an otherwise seamless infiltration...

He eventually made a careless mistake and got rooted out. He conspired in the darkness of Sanctuary's underbelly though was eventually found and slain.

Pretty amusing. I remember one day seeing you in some rusted Lowersman looking armor in the In Between....next day you're a Watcher.

I really like the concept of an Eldath follower seeking thrallment for an end to war and an age of peace though.
