QuoteSplendid Bracers

Highly magical and enchanted bracers

Armor modifier +1 (AC armor bonus)
Use Aura of Glory (7)

The armor is mentioned because this acts like a +1 modifier for the armor you're wearing, so like a full-plate becomes a full-plate +1. While there is a change that makes you lose the bonus AC if you re-equip it, if you forget about it you're walking around with one more ac than you originally have.

I suggest either removing the bonus ac on the item so people cannot exploit this or changing the item completely so that it won't be a problem at all.

These items are modified on EFU so they only apply the armor bonus if your wearing 0/NA armor, IE Cloths. I'm not following, is there a bug where re-equipping gives you the AC bonus even if your wearing armor?

Whenever I log on with the gloves on, they add another AC, acting as an AC armor modifier for my full-plate, instead of the other available types of AC bonuses, like natural, deflection, shield, or dodge. If I unequip the bracers and re equip them, then I get a debuff, something like AC decreased or something like that, because of, from what I can guess, a way to remove the bonus AC that the gloves grant.

The problem is this; people might abuse this item to get a free +1 ac armor modifier to get like, a "cheap" version of a fullplate+1 or any other kind of armor really, or they might forget that it gives a bonus AC and just leave it on negligently. Which is why I suggest to either remove the bracers entirely, or to at least only remove the bonus AC effect that it has on it and keep the spells it grants on it.

Oh, yes, well - that is exploitable. Trash this item please.
