I've encountered Olivia IG a few times now. Hang in there. Unfortunate death is a great challenge, but it can lead to deeper insights.

After years of playing power-levelling linear games, (WoW derivative games with 'End' content, and endless farming for things)... I can really appreciate the incredible mechanical challenges, the RP, and the non-linear storytelling experiences that can be found in EfU.

I havent seen this mentioned, so I'll throw it out there. When you choose to respawn somewhere safe, your stuff is dropped exactly where you died. You're always welcomed to Rp having crawled back into town and beggar some help. Rp it all, of course, but I've many a time gone out to clear monsters off dead people / stuff when requested ICly.

Actually, I don't think I've ever refused. Anyhow, I hope your enjoy your stay.

Joining the IRC channel is an almost essential part of surviving EFU. It allows you to get aid from a DM when the server bites, corpse moving so you get to keep your loot being one example. You will often see some of us more experienced (+5 years) EFU players  pleading for aid on there.
