As some of you may have noticed, the Northern King's Passage and Captain Rouke have arrived to Sis Liman somewhat recently. This organization is part of the remaining Ixpadian fleet that fled to the seas upon news of the Queen's death in Old Port when she attempted to seize the city.

A spot of history:

Quote"Treason. The Queen is dead. Grouse has [ .. fragment .. ]. Loyalists are to seek berth in safer waters and levy fresh recruits. The war is not over. Treason." - Anonymous signal dispatched to Captain Rouke upon the eve of the general retreat to Ymph.

Upon the defeat of Ixpadia Sabuth, her (significant) surviving forces were largely destroyed by the confusion caused by her alleged death. Whilst Grouse patched together his Sons with his few remaining faithful and native Ymphian gang members, Captain Thomas Rouke took what remained of his fleet and departed the Archipelago. Unfortunately, mercenary vessels were lurking in the waters beyond Old Port, with instructions to destroy any attempting to escape the massacre in the City.

It was only when trade began to flow anew and rumours of the continued survival of Ixpadian resistence upon Ymph reached his ears that the errant Captain began to formulate plans of return. Captain Rouke's ship, the Northern King's Passage, is a vessel itself andone of those that originally brought the Four Houses to Old Port

While the overarching agenda of this faction is likely best learned in game, there are indeed some other public goals that can be adapted to your PC in order to make it amusing!

Freedom and chaos both hold their place in this area. The laws and rules are few, the ideals of personal gains are great, and the re-ignition of a former meta-plot fully twisted and formed to the current setting by much more creative minds than my own await!

Monterous PCs are welcomed alongside outcasts from normal civilization.

A sandbox to play in, a faction / association you might help design and construct through the efforts of your PC. Sign up early and induce the plot movement and gain those sick bonuses and perks that come alongside the wave of plots and schemes that can grow from it!

Pirates > ninjas

A few (basic) character ideas you might adapt into a concept:

- A Diluvian Ambassador / hunter seeking Human allies with the sailors in order to help the sunken city with the Withering

- An Ogre swashbuckler (enough said)

- A Harpy Songstress, princess of the eastern nest, seeking her own prince to charm

- A barbaric raider / pillager who preys upon the caravans and withered men of the desert.

- A ruby aspirant looking to infiltrate the upstart organization that once marched upon the very doorstep of the Count

- A Stygian turncoat living out his life as a sellsword and mercenary while avoiding his forsaken past and broken oaths

- An Ixpadian loyalist fighting for the Queen's rightful place on the throne, be it through blade or subtlety as a spy

- and more

For now:

- Grow the faction, gain a rep!
- Plot and scheme against Murdertown (those that betrayed Ixpadia)
- Politics and raids, take advantage of the Mistlocke civil chaos

#NKP in IRC if you wish to join, discuss concepts, or simply spend your time in Sis Liman and intend to be an ally of the area!

Alright. I'm free for 3 days straight so all you IRC folks that came in while I was asleep / at work feel free to hit me up there or on here with a forum PM if you need something!

Aethereal

This does look inspired! A very nice pitch that I can see working out in-game, if people can overcome their aversion to headquarters in withering areas.

Perhaps a concept right there, a healer / researcher to tend folks out in Sis Liman / find ways to inoculate the settlement or even those who seek to embrace and spread the curse.

It is through Art, and through Art only, that we can realise our perfection.

Outcast

If you're afraid of withering from an OOC perspective, you shouldn't be playing EFU:M!

Still going and needing some active players dedicated to the faction ideals more than ever!

Some issues that probably need to be cleared up:

This is mostly player run (by me) though has slight NPC backing on the agenda and in other areas. Most of it must be -earned- in game through IC efforts.

It is -wide open- for player manipulation via their personal goals!!

Conflict has come our way! Consider yourselves allies of the Clan Caermyn and hostile towards Aberdenn should you take the colors (That would mean buying the dyes or earning the colors via -application- or IC efforts)

Free to join openly, as like an association, though there are no perks upon simply doing so.

Crush the status quo, do something different :P
