The way that Perfect World manages things is similar to other micro transaction mmo's, especially more common with the popularity of arpg's like this. There is a currency system like diamonds and it is used to purchase costmetic things or extra access. For example you might only be allowed to do X ammount of dungeons a day, but diamonds might buy tokens to do more, or be able to pay for a premium account to do it unlimited times per day. That sorta stuff.

Even though I'm not super fond of the lack of visual quality I do like that it is, well, Neverwinter. And the Foundry, yay! Ability for player creativity to shine through in game is a great thing.

Tanks

Looks cool. Can't imagine this will be fun for more than a few hours though.

The only thing that will really get me interested in things like this is if the ability for players making and hosting their own modules with DM powers is present, and we aren't all forced into some giant static sandbox where we are told we can go out and finish quests, fight stuff, save the day or ruin it... but never actually can. Because in the end, we were the 127645th person to finish that quest, and the 2178632th character to go on it.

The only way for an online game to really be good and not mediocre is if the developers and admins are willing to let their own vision of what it will be slide and yield to a player's imagination.

That game is probably worse than D3. Graphics that look like 10-15 years behind time. Gameplay ripped off from another genre "highlight", which proved to be a floop as well. MMO like built world.

What else do you need to make a game bad? Ah right, a name that is classic to ruin it.

Wild Card

Just wait until someone makes a server emulator and private servers start being viable and we can build our own world and host it :)

master rogue #14

I think this is a great thing.

Wild Card

If your looking for a NWN2 server to try out (perhaps the only one worth trying) and if your a Baldur's Gate fan than I reccomend this http://talesofamn.myfreeforum.org/
