Is there a way to filter IRC so you only see DM and server messages? I mean, apart from putting everyone except +Mistlocke on Ignore, which strikes me as a little drastic. :/

And if there isn't, would it then be feasible to have a channel solely for DM and server messages? It could be really nice to have it running in the background and check it every once in a while to make sure combat text hadn't caused you to miss something important.

You can modify some IRC clients so that every time MIstlocke speaks, it makes a beeping notification.

Otherwise nope, don't think so.

Yes, it is possible to make Mistlocke colour the text and/or beep whenever it is said in text so you can swiftly see what server activity there has been.

What IRC client do you use, tOH? You'll likely have to use an IRC application because I doubt webclients would have filtering options/features.

mIRC. I can probably work out how by fiddling a bit.
