This has been discussed to hell and back with all sorts of proposed tweaks and changes to make it more effective and all that crap. Please don't bring any of that to this thread though! My suggestion is simply: when you kill something with it *or it dies while under the spells effect*, could it be made so you actually get their heart in your inventory? Like one of those evil still palpating heart items. The spell description also mentions that the heart appears in your hand :) I think it'd be cool.

*The spell description says "If the victim dies as a result of this spell" so.. -technically- if someone else lands the killing blow, it is as a result of it still from their paralyzation due to heart attack! Not like they're going to be able to further resist having their heart magically ripped out from their chest once the channeling has been started just because someone stabbed them in the gut. Getting the killing blow on a 1d3 is pretty hard >.<

But yea, give the caster a still palpitating heart please when they do this? It's an evil loot object, and an evil spell that's really just flavor anyway ^^

How badass is that?

IMO, make it work on non humanoids too. That way you could get a HUGE 10 lb heart object for killing a Great Lizard. You know this would be fun!

Killing a NPC with Heart Clutch does not yield a heart if it's still supposed to.

If a PC killed me with this spell to get my heart, I would love it.
