While I can recall this being reported in the past, no answer was given then.

The spell glyph of warding doesn't deal any damage. If cast on the ground the glyph will appear, but when touched it disappears and no damage is dealt.

I will give this one a well-deserved bump.

Found a scroll last night and tried it. This neat little spell is still bugged.

I find it to be quite a flavorful spell in the Cleric's arsenal, and it has a unique mechanic too !

This is still a thing. Our fancy new mechanics changes forum lists Glyph of Warding as being 1d6 damage per level but in actuality it does nothing! Someone pokes the bubble, it pops, and that is that. Tested on both monsters and PCs.

This seems to have been the case for the last five years judging by past forum posts. If it was ever fixed, it was apparently short-lived. I've seen people say that it still does something "occasionally" but I've never been able to get this thing to do squat and I've played around with it quite a bit. Owner, summons, enemies, other players (regardless of hostility); stacked, walking into the AoE, being in the AoE when it's cast, expiring; all nada.

Back in 2008 it was said this has already been broken for a long time, but just an update to the bug. I cast it on something that was immune to magic. It went through the animation, hit the target, but the target didn't get its magic resisting bubble or give a combat log thing saying "Immune to Spell". It just didn't register as being hit by a spell at all.
