[SIZE="4"]~ Isle of Ymph
The largest Isle of the Shrouded Archipelago, the Isle of Ymph is a land abounding with ancient relics and terrifying horrors. It is upon the Isle of Ymph that the one finds the dread Maiden, the timeless Netheril citadel of Nebedzzos, and the Mist shrouded hamlet of Mistlocke. Many hold that to reside on the Isle of Ymph is to have the veils scoured away revealing the truths at the core of one's being.

~ Isles of the Shrouded Archipelago, The Shrouded Isles
Found among the trackless waves of the Shinning Sea of Abeir Toril, the Isles of the Shrouded Archipelago are an accumulation of islands within close proximity of one another. The greatest of these landmasses is the Isle of Ymph. In addition to the Isle of Ymph; the Seven Deaths, Old Port, and the Blighted Isles are the Isles of import that collectively form the Isles of the Shrouded Archipelago.

~ Last Keep

~ Mistlocke
The hamlet of Mistlocke stands secluded deep within the Mist shrouded woodlands of the Forgotten Forrest upon the Isle of Ymph. As of the year 1382 Dale Reckoning, Mistlocke endures as one of the few settlements of refuge for the living in all of the Shrouded Archipelago. Yet even as Mistlocke serves as hearth and ward from the horrors of the Isle of Ymph, it is a hamlet often plagued by bitter internal dispute and treachery. A reminder of the darkness within the mortal heart, and that the terrors of the Shrouded Archipelago were crafted by mortal hands.

[SIZE="4"]~ H’Bala, The Maiden, The Betrayer
"Seven daughters, seven sons. Seven seasons ‘ere she comes.
Seven tidings, fear and dread. None dare walk where the Maiden treads."

A dire lichess found upon the Shrouded Isles, H’Bala is known by myriad names and feared for innumerable abhorrent deeds. Once H’Bala was the Netheresse witch Shylae Jabbanased, imprisoned in timeless Nebezzdos and styled Maiden for her peerless beauty. Fleeing to the wilds of the Isle of Ymph, the Maiden attained the certitude of the Stargazers of the Shrouded Isles. From they the Maiden discerned the arcane enigmas of the wild lands. Deluded the Stargazers, the Maiden assailed the Blighted Isle in the age of Netheril. Twisting the very essence of the Isle to the current, accursed nature. For this treachery the Stargazers fixed upon the Maiden the epithet Betrayer and bound the Maiden within a tower on the Isle of Ymph. The bindings held for an age until the year 1378 Dale Reckoning, the Maiden’s deliverance on 23 Hammer 1378 Dale Reckoning arising amid an effort to destroy her by the wild walkers of the Shrouded Isles. With her release the Maiden cast the dread Withering from the Isle of Ymph in the year 1378 Dale Reckoning, seeking a sovereignty of un-death encompassing the Shrouded Isles and lands beyond.  A doom of this age.

~ Leged
Leged, once an elven druidic of the Stewards of the Shrouded Isles, infamous for impelling the Stewards and wild walkers to the foundered onslaught of 23 Hammer 1378 Dale Reckoning upon the dread Maiden. For the act of that incursion annulled the wards, enacted by the Stargazers in the age of Netheril, which had imprisoned the Maiden within her tower on the Isle of Ymph.  Liberated, the Maiden molded the defeated assailants into her terrifying Agony of the Hunt and afflicted the Isle of Ymph with the Withering. The failure of Leged, an affirmation of the price demanded for acting upon remnants of lore while comprehending aught of knowledge.

~ Lotheri Sanq, Warden, Imperator of The Empire of Netheril
Entitled Warden of Nebezzdos and Imperator of the Empire of Netheril, Lotheri Sanq persists as an ecclesiastic of Jergal derived from the age of Netheril. Upon Lotheri’s murder of the prior Warden for his employment of un-death, Lotheri attained dominion of Nebezzdos in the days following Karsus’ Folly and the decline of the Netheril Empire. Amid the years succeeding Karsus’s Folly, Lotheri’s memories were closed within Jars of Memory and Lotheri relegated to simplistic custodian of the venerable Temple of Jergal in Nebezzdos.  Consequent to the Nightrisen’s reclaiming of Nebezzdos in the year 1378 Dale Reckoning, the Memory Jars were retrieved engendering the restitution of Lotheri’s awareness. Sentient and possessing aspirations for the restoration of the Empire of Netheril, Lotheri Sanq reigns over Nebezzdos and it’s legions of ageless Nightrisen.

[SIZE="4"]~ The Mist
"The Mist is the Mist is the Mist."

The Mist settles as a cloak over segments of the Shrouded Archipelago, inclusive of the Forgotten Forest on the Isle of Ymph. Yet the Mist of the Isles is no artless fog, to stand within the Mist is to be guarded from the ravages of the Withering and the Maiden’s undead creations. Beyond this boon of life the Mist is known to compel visions of distant times, and to adjure living sacrifices from those beings the Mist harbors. As with all relics of true power, the Mist is not a creation of simplistic ideals. Nothing is without cost, and the Mist is the Mist is the Mist.

~ The Withering
The daunting curse cast by the Maiden upon the Isle of Ymph in the year 1378 Dale Reckoning, the Withering besets ever living being to set foot on the Isle. It is believed the Withering of the Maiden is an enigmatic blending of arcane curse and natural disease, assuming the direst aspects of each in the diaspora across the Shrouded Isles. To suffer the Withering is to be afflicted by a slow supplanting of living flesh with un-death. A being ravaged by the full extent of the Withering is accursed with full un-death and bound to the will of the Maiden. To contend the progression of the Withering thrice methods are known; to reside within the shroud of the Mist, receipt of a divine blessing to purge a curse, and ingestion of a herbal mixture crafted by the wild walkers of the Isle of Ymph. No true alleviation for the Withering is known.
