Other mass effect spells?

I like the elemental protection suggestions a lot! Not sure about blur but not vehemently opposed. Overall B+ suggestion. Would comment again.

Ghostly Sphere might be a bit powerful, unless maybe you could make it an Illusionist only spell.

I 'really' like the elemental protections.

As for Ghostly sphere, its a neat idea. I think if it were implemented the best way to temper it might be something like 1/4, 1/2, and 1/1 durations based off of illusion foci feats?

The Ghostly Sphere could work, but having a full blur would be overpowered in my opinion. Having it be level 4 with immunity to cantrips and a 20% concealment would remain very useful, and very much on par with a certain bard song, and the DR could be gained by those who actually expend a blur potion.

I place a vote for elemental circles, simply because it would make spell selection a much more enjoyable experience rather than needing to overload on buffs in favour of ignoring much more interesting spells for necessary utility.

I personally don't like these ideas.

If we make every buff and spell around have massive spell option, it's just getting bit silly. Too easy as well, to save spellslots and have more power than mage at our levels should be.

It feels weird if every mage is able to with a flick of finger buff up a wide area magic all around and protect everyone. It's a bit too much. Just my opinion obviously.

I was so disappointed when I read this. I initially thought it would be about Mass Effect spells, like Singularity, Summon Krogan Warlord or Call In Airstrike from the Normandy :(
