Bringing guests to the Delving

Egon the Monkey

We seem to have had a resurgence of Dwarves of late. When I played one, I liked to do business in the Delving, plot there, etc. The thing is that 75 GP is a really expensive toll and makes the Delving a terrible place to bring an ally or visitor to plot with, help you clear monsters out of the falls etc.

Could there be an option for Dwarf (or gnome if they get free passes too) players of "I live here and I am bringing guests" which ports everyone within close range across the gate?

Professor Death

I HEAVILY second this motion. In a recent event where villager PCs were needed to push back an invading force I personally paid out 100 coin per villager who showed to compensate them for their entrance fee and the charge for
resting plus a little more for their effort when I didn't see any DM compensation appearing. Maybe it did and I missed it, I cannot be positive.

The Old Hack

It would be nice to have the ability to buy or earn permanent passes of entry into the Delving. Sometimes it just seems so strange that you can't. Example: a character of mine once partook in a quest in the Delving where she was subsequently praised to the skies and awarded a very nice quest armour by the Thane himself. Next day it was business as usual and I had to pay 75 gold to pass...

The Crimson Magician

I once tried to help out in a battle but I couldn't because they wanted 75 gold from me which I didn't have [No pay, no expectations]

morva

Yeah, like the hanged goblin. Do a quest for the dwarfs and get a sweet walk in free pass
