In the very beginning of the world, it was unformed. The landscapes were conquered by vast emptiness, colorless fogs, and flat lands of endless space. Though the world was not yet made, The Five-Fold Queen was. She had been in existence long before the world. Before time was born, The Five-Fold Queen stood. And when she created this unformed land, she could watch over all of it with her magnificent five heads, both terrifying and beautiful to behold. The Queen had grown restless with this land of nothingness, and raised her heads. With great power and strength in each of her grand visages, she began to rend the lands and give them shape.

The first to begin shaping the lands was the Crimson Breath. Her great molten breath and incredible jaws pulled up great tracts of land and formed them into magnificent mountains and rolling with grand hills. From the mountains spewed forth the first flames of the world, the Red Dragons. They rolled down the mountains, giving them further shape and claiming the lands that are their birthright. They took to the skies, their determined eyes burning like the brightest blaze, where The Crimson Breath gave them instruction. It was her decree that these dragons would be brave, and they would be full of valor. They were the Firstborn, and they were the mightiest of all; they would present a strength that all should aspire to. Their blazing souls would empower the hearts of all their followers, and give them passion and confidence. There was no weakness in them.

The second head, the Sky Lord, crackled with electricity. From the head shot lightning that rumbled through the ground, and great sands were formed everywhere they coursed. Winds whipped as the Sky Lord’s grand wings stirred them up and created dunes and waters, sanctuaries for his followers. From the oasis rose the Blue Dragons, the thundering storms of the world. The Sky Lord looked upon his children and thundered out his decrees; his children were to be orderly and cunning. The blue dragons created law, so that their subjects could live well and equally beneath them. They created puzzles and mazes, as to test the intelligence of those living below them and help them nurture. The blue dragons created magic, for the most intelligent of their vassals to manipulate and use to aid themselves. The followers grew prosperous and educated under the blue dragons.

The third head, The Duchess of Growth, watched over the colorless plains. She reached down and plucked up bits of land which she sputtered drops of life on, creating verdant shades of green and powerful oaken barriers for her children to inhabit. Life teemed in these lands even more than the rest, though the first to rise were the Green Dragons. The Duchess of Growth waved a hand over the great forests that she wove across the land, and spoke to her children that they would be tenaciously defensive. They would be brilliant combatants and eternally protective of their lands and subjects, enforcing borders with supreme strength. The subjects of the green dragons learned the value of defense and the grand arts of combat. The followers of the green dragons suffered no intrusions into their lands by beasts, and excelled in battle like none other.

A venomous fourth head rose up, blackened and skeletal in form, and cast his poison across a portion of the forests. Waters rose and more life grew from the bogs and swamps that formed in the lands. Here is the birthplace of poison, here did the most vile of environments come to be. Black dragons whipped their gaunt forms from the waters surveyed their lands with pleasure; in here, the hardiest would survive. Their father, The Ruthless, dripped virulent words from his mouth. The black dragons would be merciless and unforgiving, decisive and ruthless. The subjects of the black dragons grew to be enduring and unbreakable, standing strong and unflinchingly in the face of any threat. The mere sight of them inspired fear into others and drove away any beasts who would like to attack.

A fifth head looked about at the lands that remained to be claimed. They were the highest mountains and deepest lands, and with a great cry, The Ice Beast billowed great snows and frost over what was left. The lands here grew frigid and feral, a savage environment where only the savage could survive. From the tundra rose the white dragons. The white dragons were the greatest hunters of all, and for this, they suffered no subjects. The white dragons hunted and ate all in their domain, and quickly taught a lesson to all other subjects; only the fittest will survive.

The Five-Fold Queen looked over her new world, pleased. She created the subjects to the dragons; Man. The dragon’s rule was fair, and Man grew strong. But in time, Man grew brazen. In some, treasonous thoughts grew and they grew jealous of their overlords. And so the betrayal began; treacherous organizations grew, called churches, headed by one man that met great praise. These men, the so-called gods, rebelled against the benevolent rulers given to them. Abusing the gifts and trust they held, Man struck down many dragons and weakened the Five-Fold Queen. Gods ascended in their place, establishing their own tyrannical rule. Here, a new age was established. It was an age of deceit. It was an age of corruption and decadence, where Man failed time after time to live up to the legacy of the dragons that they thought themselves wise to expel.

The Queen was sorrowful, watching her children be driven back and betrayed by the creatures that she was so merciful to let exist on her world. However, man needed something to keep control before the mighty true dragons came back with vengeance. Taking the essence of the dragons they slew in cold blood, the Gods created their own perverse creations. Mixing the stolen strength of the Five-Fold Queen with the metals that Man created as a crutch, they created corrupted war machines, confidantes and enforcers for the tyrant gods. These metallic dragons were headed by the greatest betrayer of all, Bahamut, a vile wizard who stole the essences of The Five-Fold Queen through treachery. The True Dragons were defeated by evil of Man and their abominable creations.

However, it was prophesied that there would be a day when The Five-Fold Queen would retake her world and the dragons would rule again, and the beginning of the conquest would be in a land still covered by the unformed fog, a land where all of the dragon’s domains coexisted. In this realm, a glorious new reign would begin. Dragons would be lords once more, and the mortal men still loyal to her would be made knights to the grand dragons. The treacherous gods and their worshipers would be struck down, and a new age of peace and prosperity would begin for all. The Queen grows in strength daily; the time comes soon. Only in dedication to The Five-Fold Queen will you survive her anger.
