I have no clue if this can even be done, but it seemed like a great idea.  You know how everyone always says how it's dumb to be a nature cleric and have animals slaughtering you all day long.  I was thinking maybe if you took the Animal Domain, it could be tagged or scripted additional that you got the perk so animals don't attack you.  Seems fitting for a cleric with the domain.  Also since the Animal Domain only boosts the default summoning theme, which is it's domain perk, it would add something else for people who don't summon or use another theme.

I like this, if it might get clerics of nature deities etc out in the wilds a little more often.

Knight Of Pentacles

Especially since last I checked, animal domain doesn't even give you +1 to your summoning theme.

Ebok

The domain gives +1 summoning theme, however if you activate another a theme for whatever reason, then the +1 is gone forever. It might be handy to tie the summoning theme to the holy symbol to prevent this?

That's for a Scriptor to figure out.

However, Concerning the OP's suggestion, I'm leaning against the idea for two reasons. The first being that clerics have an innately non-wilderness role, they teach divine practice to mortals. They are not natures representatives, but instead serve to steer to the flock of humanity towards whatever ends. The distinction or lack thereof between Nature and Divine can certainly be argued.

The second reason is the simple fact that many nature deities are not lovey dovey nature friendly. Malar being a prime example. They certainly should be inviting the chaos of the hunt, not stifling it before it begins.

Basically it comes down to this: Animal's behavior is an natural thing, including their hostility. Clerics of these things should not expect to disrupt them, but to teach people how to live within it regardless. Also: Animal domain is kind of powerful.

Equinox

Clerics are rediculously powerful, and hey. If you play a cool one there is always loot to be gained to help survive the wilds.

Not that they need it anyway...

Gotham

Animal Domain is one of two standard NWN domains (not including our custom ones) that gives cats grace. It also gives access to True Seeing at 3rd circle. That alone is pretty powerful, even without the auto-reveal of stealthers it still gives see invis and protection from all illusion spells.

MrGrendel

Clerics who don't care about animals shouldn't be taking the animal domain, nature deity or not, but it also doesn't rob them of the option to kill those animals instead.

As far as it being "overpowered" to let clerics of nature gods with animal domain get around animals in nature, that seems very unlikely.

Apocalypse Nigh

Invisibility Potions, I hear, rather common!

Urlen

Can be, but not as frequent without a way to turn in resources for nature
