Cleric Amulets

I've recently acquired a second clerical amulet on my character after a reset (in which some prayers were asked for and given). Furthermore, this second amulet has now begin to upgrade itself as I request prayers rather than the original amulet I wear (and use for the request).

This began after the recent fix to the disappearing amulet issue.

Amulet has now reset to it's base form and all of the bonuses have been lost. :(

Got an additional (and wiped) amulet and prayerbook upon leveling. I trashed them. My original symbol seemed to retain its bonuses at that point, I'm almost sure.

However, I've now noticed its bonus spell slot has changed from level 3 to level 1. I think this change may have occurred after a reset.

Trashing the copy is what made my original lose all of it's bonuses I believe, sadly. I'm uncertain though, but I've yet to be able to get the bonuses I had prior on my current amulet. (after prayers and such)

Upon dying last night, amulet not equipped, amulet was lost at respawn.  When I releveled, I gained another amulet with none of the original powers and another prayerbook.

Relogging didn't help. Amulet was gone. Upon relog and reset the replacement is back to base level :(

Should the amulet lose all bonuses on death and respawn (not that I'm planning on dying again any time soon).
