Maztica the Campaign, (Again)

Instead of dragging up an old post from the past, I decided to post one here. I have continued to work on the setting and decided to incorporate a variety of hack packs for those who are interested in such, and I am pleased (though ridiculously cumbersome and bulky) that the content  has to offer for my campaign.

It is in the beginning stages of the Campaign, and I hope for a consistent, weekly group who will be reliably available to play upon the server I will host using Hamachi or other players will host due to my inability to post the server to the internet because of university routers.

You will need CEP 2.4 Which can be found here. I no longer use the Aztec pack due to bug problems. CEP.TLK Is required to play.

I ask all those who wanted to participate earlier contact me or join #MazticaCampaign once more to discuss new or approved concepts, or whether to continue with your old ones if you find yourselves with the inclination to do so.

I am ALSO considering asking a variety of players to play ONE shot villains or, if I feel excited about your concept, overarching villains who will continue to play for long periods of time as they battle the main PC groups.

I am going to disallow paladins, as I want to keep them especially rare, and a variety of decision choices I have planned will make the class unsuited for an enjoyable experience as it will exclude you from the group.

You can expect the following of your PC: Solo quests designed around your PC that may or may not effect the overarching theme of the server.

A Cleric of Helm may rise through the ranks and lead the Church Crusaders against the Heathen followers of the land

And a Druid will come in touch with the natural spirits of the land and may lead the circle against the forces of civilization...

Mysteries, moral dilemmas, and, admittedly, my poor toolsetting skills will fill you with the rich world of Maztica.

I can handle one or two more players. Assistant DMs will be incorporated. You will not be asked to toolset, merely assist in possessions and more.
 
Villains are always sought and I will give you great liberty in what sort of Villain you wish to play, however, for storyline purposes, I still require the following for the first 'chapter' of the campaign:
 
A cleric of Azul (The Maztican Rain God who desires the sacrifice of young virgin children)
 
A Champion of Zaltec (The Maztican God Of War)
 
An inquisitor of the Helmite Church
 
And finally, a Paladin of the Feathered Dragon Qotal (The Maztican God of Justice, Good, and Law)
 
Hit me on IRC if you are interested. Otherwise, boring NPCs will be used.

A local hero by the name of Captain Bernaldo Matsies has docked in the elegant Galleon the CONQUISTA, forged from the tall boughs of the Amnian Forest and enchanted by the Crown Mages to withstand the hardest of Umberlee's Dread storms, the copper plated hull shows signs of little tarnish as it gleams into docks, to unload the mesmerizing treasures from the True World, slaves, gold, and magical relics are soon greedily purchased.
 
However, a pronouncement has been made for heroes, and adventurers- a surprising move from the normally introspective and quiet Captain, that he will bring heroes of Amn, glory-seeking youths, or disenchanted souls in the city of his birth to the True World to make a new life in the Colony of BELGIA'S SEAT. A colony founded by the third son of a prominent Amnian House and has become one of the many gems of the Amnian Kingdom. Adventurers and nobles alike compete for the opportunity to secure passage, but room for only 3 more remain.
 
The Cowled Wizards send their representative, the Floral Mage of the Port, many suitors weep and women sigh in relief that such exemplenary competition for the hand of wealthy and rich youths is now removed. Far removed from the sinister reputation of the Crown Mages, the Floral is often seen as a proponent of personal liberty and freedom, often seeking diplomacy rather than the violent roads the Cowled Servants take against threats against their masters. Dressed in her court attire, and soon followed by a cadre of servants supplied to her by her proud father, she soon disappears into the Galleon only to be seen on occasion to say goodbyes to her many suitors.
 
The Tempurran Mercenary, Salnar the RED- the hero in a pitched battle against the tribe of Mixiblix, said to have single handedly slew the product of a hundred goblin sacrifices, the Nightmare of Goblin-kind. Heroically marches into the city. Salnar is greeted in the port with the cheers of women offering their virginity to him. Soon after, he docks the ship with the many deflowered souls resting in the brothels of Esmeraltan.
 
A third woman, mysterious in a black satin dress, is also seen docking the ship shortly after sorrow struck the city. The temple of lathander under construction smeared with blood, and she is said to have begged the Captain to take her to the new world to allow her to escape from the sorrow of the moment, claiming to be the wife of the Renown Lathander Argos Lightsblade, who was killed praying upon the shrine of Lathander. Captain Belgia, moved by her pleas, ascented to the approval of the city.
 
The fourth hero joins the Crew of Captain Bernaldo, arriving upon the scene of an argument the Captain was having, the pompous Lord Frederick Denardo is ran through by the Captain's Cutlass before being tossed unceremoniously into the Harbor, earning the house's ire for all eternity to the Captain's Fortunes. Natelas Starfeather, a renown vigilante wanted by authorities gained the Captain's approval- after all, it was call for heroes, not law-abiding individuals. Many whisper that the scrawny elf would be a waste of space upon the the Captain's Vessel, and many further ponder, and perhaps rightly, that the recent destruction of over a dozen Cowled Mage Constructs and the damage to the City Vault can be laid at his feet. But no one knows for certain- the few elves in the city mourn silently, giving silent toasts to Sehanine to take the young elf to Arvandor when it comes his time.

The docks eagerly gossip about who else will join the brave company across the Trackless Sea to the true world, for the glory of Amn, Gold, and Helm.
