Looking for concept group/faction/character ideas

Been in something of a creative limbo since the death of my last serious-ish PC. Can't find my RP mojo and such.

So I'm looking for maybe some faction/group/idea that needs more players or maybe some of the DM factions are woefully underpopulated and need some PC juice pumped into them.

Just looking for something to get myself playing again, tired of sitting in IRC trying to think of starting point for a PC. Don't be shy, send me a PM on IRC or on the forums if the suggestion isn't suitable to the forums. I can be flexible, and I love supporting other players agendas if they are interesting.

We share play times.  If you want to make a cleric of Mystra to be my buddy and/or student to help build up the church, that would be neat!  We have a temple and everything.

I would say that things related to magic and knowledge are strong right now, based on just how many people are doing that sort of thing. You might also consider an Uthgardt serial killer who hunts and kills sorcerers but otherwise pretends to be normal.

Join the Fellowship of Ymph, a fledgling player faction of warriors who abide by some sort of code (Preferably neutral-good).  Intended to be a reinvisioning of King Arthur's knights of the Round Table for Ymph it focuses around traditional knightly pursuits such as hunting great beasts, battling evil, rescuing innocents and more efu specific aims.
