I tried some RP servers. Wasn't my thing. If I want RP, I'll play EFU.

Hard for RP to be very good without DM/GM/RP referees to tell people "No, that's stupid" and so on. Also feels weird without the possibility of death.

Annnd because I've already leveled so many characters on my current server, Hyperspace Cannon.....not very interested in changing servers. The Legacy level system kinda makes you want to stick to one server sadly =/

When I entered TOR, I did it in the anticipation of finding something like mulitplayer Mass Effect with hopefully a decent story and fun flashy combat as well as cool PvE. It has amply lived up to all of these expectations and I expect to be playing it for those reasons for a while yet. But in all honesty, entering an MMO of this kind hoping for good roleplay is like attending a rugby match in the hopes of watching a good game of chess. If I want good roleplay I'll be looking for it in places like EfU.

I also thought it self-evident that meaningful RP and stories cannot exist unless death is permanent. This is a fairly basic requisite.

If only brain death counted. If it did, WoW would have been the best place for RP ever.
