Mist's End Tavern: Pit fighter/tons of flexibility and room for concepts!

The crowd roars as the man, barely standing from his many bruises, pushed to the limit of exhaustion subdued his opponent with one might swing of his mace to the man's skull, sending him reeling to the ground with a thud.

Some audience members bemoan the loss of their wagers, others boisterous with excitement over their winnings, ordering ale for all. Ale is drunk heavily throughout, served with mighty feasts with salty snacks.

The victorious man leans down one arm to the man, holding himself up with the head of his massive mace and pulls the man to his feet. An enormous blubbery man, wiping his mouth and beard of ale bellows down. "WHY ARE YOU HELPIN HIM? YOU BEAT HIM AND HE CALLED YOU STUPID! BEAT HIM SOME MORE!"

The man looks out to the audience, slowly turning. "I am a man of the pit. A man who fights for sport. I fight for your enjoyment. Men of the pit are bonded in brotherhood by blood. Something a drunken common-oaf like yourself will never understand."

He helps his opponent to his feet and gets him out of the ring. A dull silence hangs over the crowd. Slowly a chant begins to stir, growing in intensity and passion. They were chanting his name.

The Mist's End Tavern has a lot of potential currently for pit fighter concepts and a LARGE variety of possibilities for PC's who might help run the events but aren't well suited to pit fights. Everything from accountants, entertainers, sly gambling hands to run the betting, pit fighters, wizards for wizard duels, actors for fake-play-fights. Heck even cooks! The possibilities are nearly endless!

We've recently had our first official big pit brawl event. There's a lot of potential for earning great rewards in prestige, IG perks and work for the Tavern. So if you're between concepts or need a concept, think about joining the Mist's End Tavern and help run some really awesome and fun events!

Working for the Mist's End Tavern is also likely not very restrictive, you are working for a tavern, not bonded by contract to a reclusive faction.

If I didn't make it clear enough.....Keep in mind you don't have to have a PC specifically modeled into a "Pit Fighter" styled PC to become a part of this. It's not a terrible restrictive semi-faction.

Think of it like your job IRL. You have a job, but you have your own life, goals and dreams. If you don't want this to be the center of your PC, think of it like a light flavoring you can sprinkle over it to give your PC some more depth and things to do!

This is more or less done, under Kreegar (since he's dead). But that wouldn't stop someone else from picking the brawling league back up, or starting their own pit master-like stuff now that there's an opening!
