So, I heard the dwarves as a group got rather mauled in a DM event last night. If you're playing one, or want to play one, then I've a concept building up now.

The Stone Hold
Classes: Any
Races: Non half-orc, non-stargazer.
Alignment: Lawful or Good preferred.

"The children of stone and crystal may be few in number, but there are others who share their virtues. Those of fine craft, hard work, honour. Together we shall carve a Hold of Stone, a city where all may aspire to the Dwarven way, the honourable way."

Racial factions do tend to suffer from the inability to recruit existing PCs, so I intend to side-step that by recruiting anyone with what a dwarf would consider an honourable vocation as allies. The aim is to put together an alliance of Dwarves, Gnomes, Gondites, miners, elemental mages, mad inventors and knights errant, to find out the fate of the Alliance Caravan and finish the Hold that Thane Dalgad started. This is Dwarf Fortress in EfU, people. We've got big plans and we need to avoid "fun" occuring ;).

Get in on the ground floor, which because we're mining, will in fact be the TOP floor. Join The Stone Hold, and all your bearded, ale-swilling, Minecraft dreams will come true!
