I cannot write in the brown forum font, when I try, I get the color Dark red.

Oh. I had this same problem. The solution is

that is brown.

But yeah, I don't know what's up with that. Probably the forum scheme, eh? Otherwise beautiful, but the advanced post options are somewhat stranger now.
