Cult of the Mist

Requirements - Non-Paladin, Non-Lawful Good

QuoteThe Mist has shrouded the isles once more and kept life safe on Ymph and protected from the Withering touch of H'Bala. It has become known as the Second Shrouding and still holds sway over many parts of Old Port and other islands of the Archipilego. Even for those who did not exist on Ymph years ago it still offers them a haven in the form of Mistlocke and it's surrounding areas. Ignorance to it's power and mystery remains, though the wise few who dedicate themselves to it's path are often granted many boons in return. The cult emerges, more aggressive than it's Dreamer predecessors and fanatic in their beliefs.

They are willing to fully devote themselves to the mysterious power of the Mist as they search for something more within the shroud, and they are equally willing to use force against those ignorant fools who reject it's power and oppose their studies. This cult is meant for those PCs who are deeply interested in venerating the power of the Mist and uncovering / utilizing all of it's mysterious powers.

QuoteThis faction will be rather vague and open to individual agendas that hold the common ingredient, that being attunement with the Mist. There will be plenty of "faction goals" to go along with the groups attunement to the Mist as a whole, though some will remain rather secret here and likely even in-game for a while. Players can expect some of the following things to be initiated on my part at least, and I hope to have some others hop on with their own twists or goals to fit in.

- Rescurection of a Deity (Secret, find out in game)

- Possible allegiance with a powerful entity on Ymph (Same as above)

- Greater attunement with the Mist. This can lead to a variety of things depending on your own personal goals. A few examples of what my PC would be trying to take from this goal are a Mist summoning theme, ways to decipher where the Mist transitions go, and further methods to moderate or change the Mist passages. There are more, but perhaps working on those examples can help.

- Politcal schemes and plots within Mistlocke itself.

- An overall understanding of the Mist.

TakenByVisions

Hmm, no one likes Mist in Mistlocke?

TakenByVisions

Still going, although I could certainly use some other cultists that have an interest in the Mist and it's mysterious abilities!
