Does anyone play EfUM on a Mac?

I do, too. It works fine, except a) there's no tool set, and b) you can't switch from full screen to windowed mode with the game running. You can boot the game in a window, though, and go full-screen from there, but no tabbing out to IRC or intarweb or whatever. Though there's always BootCamp/Parallells if it bothers you a lot.

Apparently I need to find a mac version.... anyone know where I can get it?  Seems to be 'discontinued' most places I'm looking...

Just use your normal internet sources.

CD keys work across PC and Mac versions.

But, Mac version sucks for all previously given reasons - And it has a shitty max resolution.

The Mac version wasn't made by Bioware, it was palmed off to some other company to do the port and they did a pretty shitty job of it. You may want to consider running the Windows version through PlayOnMac I hear it runs pretty damn smoothly.

If you are determined to run a mac version you're probably going to have to torret the disc images and then use your legal keys on it as you're not going to find a legit copy for it anywhere, even the version on Good Old Games is windows only.

Thanks for all the advice and tips.  I have a PC that I'm running off of, it just would be nice to be untethered and play on my Macbook... I'll maybe give the PlayOnMac a try.

If that doesn't work, BootCamp will for sure - Just install Windows on it if you have a few gigs of HD space to spare.

The Mac version works perfectly fine to play on, despite the flaws, by the way. Max resolution is definitely good enough for a laptop, and you don't need the toolset for just playing. The only annoying thing is the inability to tab out while in full-screen without relogging, but it's easy enough to just boot the game in a full-size window for when you know you'll want to tab out.

Actually you can just go into the ini file and set the resolution max to whatever you want. Just saying.
Also you can download both max/PC versions online for under $10.

Last month one of my friends downloaded this from an online gaming  company for like $10. He had his old CDkeys, which helped cause whatever  site was doing it didn't give me working CDkeys with the download (he  did end up requesting another set to have, they emailed it to him once  he brought it up) So it should be a simple DL.

You can manually set the max resolution within the nwnplayer.ini file.

I actually use a mac laptop also for NWN, although these days am mostly booting in Bootcamp so I can toolset.
