Meatbag was born of a simple desire.
 
To play a henchman. One who could just as easily serve a good guy or a badguy, but still come off relativly pleasent. I decided early on that, in keeping with the crushbot theme, the best way to achieve this was with an idiot.
 
The Halforc part was pretty easy after that.
 
Meatbag was a slave in Zhentil Keep raised by priest of Bane, Dreadmaster Zaephus. Zaephus raised Meatbag to be fearful of Bane, him, and all authority, and to believe he was subhuman trash worthy only of doing the most menial physical labors. As a result, Meatbag grew up as a sychophant, a physically terrifying little lamb who wouldn't hurt a fly unless ordered to.
 
Basically, he was Chewbacca.
