I think the problem here might be that people don't realize how much a hassle actually setting a trap is!
 
There's a reason extra time is involved making the preparations! It's not 'okay I'll drop my trap kit here and wait for someone to walk over it', it's 'okay, I'll get out my trap kit, arm the snare, conceal it by tossing some leaves on it or something like that'. A lot of work! Not very simple either.

the fact is people dont use traps on quests, mainly because they break in both stealth and invisibility will cause death, atleast allow for invisibility to be unbroke by this action especially when a npc/pc can down a single potion to see them anyway


then again if you want to keep rogues as useless on not only quests but pvp then keep it the same, i mean come one right now quests are just buff as hard as you can and heal when necessary, atleast add some variarant for rogues to be useful otherwise the class is just pointless, the only reason pure rogues make it high level fast is because they stealth 90% of the time
