Bard Song, Song books, and Curses

I got a special song which said it was a curse, i scribed it into my songbook and tried cursed song... default.  So I try my regular song and it not only curses me with the negative effect but everyone around me.  I figured since it said curse it would work of curse song.  SO, I am reporting it here unless that is is supposed to work of regular bard song.

Um, I think he found a cursed music sheet, used it on himself, and because he had curse song as his bardic singing style, thought the song wouldn't hurt him, but would by-pass the curse.
 
However, the cursed song from the music sheet still affects him negatively like it would some one without the curse song bardic style.

Curses are a type of song that work like regular songs with the exception of requiring Curse Song to be learned and activated. The caster is as much subject to the song's effects as with any other song.

You mean that you expected the Curse Song ability to trigger the curse, not the Bard Song ability. I actually forgot that Curse Song was an active ability. I am not sure how we will resolve this, but for now you have to use the Bard Song ability to use songbooks.

ah ok, thats what i meant snoteye, though i find it silly you can curse yourself it would be very cool to get it to work off the curse sonce ability... thanks snoteye!
