Personally I appreciate that the DM's are literally willing to let the events hang on the roll of a die.  SHows they can adapt to whatever may happen even if it's not the direction they may have wanted to go.
 
Also anyone else notice that the second roll was always a "1".... I say we take up a collection... Obviously we need 3 attempts to establish a pattern...... go gamble again ("One last gamble") and NOT go for the second time... just saying... (obvious attempt to watch a gambler take a bite at another chance to gamble)

Just realising drow can't count. You get 10k for each slave and win. Now you got 40k and the two slaves back? Thats not a double, its three times.

Good that it didn't matter anyway!
