The Docks have always reminded me of a Wild West sort of environment. Rival gangs duking it out over territory, little wealth but lots of it changing hands, and a seedy-as-hell-drinking-hole like the Wastrel at the heart of it all.

The idea of the faction is basically some non good guys fighting for a good cause. "The Peacekeepers" is a possibly short lived but quite fun little faction that myself and a few players conjured up in the pursuit of trying to change the landscape of the Docks.

A gang with a slight military past, but quite welcome to any PC willing to focus their good and evil deeds not on the innocent but those who spread other evils.

Quite literally any Docks friendly sort of PC could likely find haven within a faction like this so long as they are willing to adopt a twisted sense of "Dock Justice" that is known to permiate the region.  Thieves? Sure, we like thieves. So long as they are thieving from those who prey upon the innocent in all forms. A rich-Docks-Drug-Dealer would have far more coin than a drunk peasant. Brigands, Highwaymen, Muggers? Absolutely. Just so long as it's loan-sharks, extortionists, and other muggers that they beat down and mug.

Like all classic "Western lawbringers", we sure aren't the Knightly sort. The Docks is a harsh place. Its lawmen have to be harsher.

Just got to say, that our little word fight was awesome. And that whoever is with this group will have a good fun rivalry with the sons. Less hostile, and more territorial, and personal. Well hopefully more join!
