Demographics and banners

I'm curious about something in this new system. Will a demographic be something you can join much in the same way you can join a banner? If not, I think it would be a great addition to have not only banners but demographics to join to help flesh out where your views are.

Example:

Bob the Janitarian might join Helm as his banner, but as far as the wider group he belongs to, he would be a part of the "Government Movement" which is a broad group of people who are pro-actively working to cooperatively form a government, it's members not all necesarily belonging to the same banner, and many of them possibly working against each other to form a different type of government.

If this is already how it works, ignore this suggestion I guess :D
