I don't really know what it is, perhaps its coincidence or maybe just the UK playing times, but whenever i come on it always seems to be night.

Maybe its just me, but i find night time really depressing on this server especially if thats all i get when i log, i'm lucky to get half an hour of day now and again, you can't travel, you can't see and no one wants to do anything.

Perhaps the periods of night time could be lowered and day time periods could be raised in real time, seems as its alot more dangerous at night.

Ok to most of you i sound like a moaner but you can understand if thats all i ever get.

I've had similar luck, where often I only log in at night. Still, it switches up every few days, give it a week and it'll be daytime again at your usual playing times. Each IG hour is 27 minutes, so it takes 10.8 hours (10 hours, 48 minutes, I believe) to go through one full day. Two days is 21.6 hours. There's 24 hours in a real life day, meaning that there's 2.4 RL hours difference between the time each IG day starts. For it to switch over a full 12 hours, you need merely wait 5 days for it to switch. That is, if my math is right, I think it is, but I'm often wrong, lol

There was a post relating to this a while back.  Night times are shorter and days are longer as at the start of the server the nightrisers were a large threat.  This means that every couple of weeks your playing times will switch from night to day I believe.

If my old memory serves me correctly, the last post relating to this was complaining that nights were too short.
  It all evens out.  You log in at the same time everyday, you get different game times, making it the same for everyone.

Nine Thousand Reasons Why Night is Awesome

Not having access to the module, I don't have any hard and fast numbers on this, but I have noticed that stealth tends to be a hell of a lot more effective at night than it is during the day in the vast majority of the outside surface areas.

When combined with the fact that people tend not to log in during the night, this makes nighttime the perfect time to schedule all of your clandestine meetings and secret rituals. You are far less likely to be spied upon, which, for most things, is advantageous.

It is designed to cycle around. You will eventually find yourself logging in during daytime more often than not. Use this time wisely.

That is why it's stealth is more effective at night, because hardly anyone bothers looking for darkvision gear or even just light producing gear. Just be sure you yourself don't have light gear, too, else you'll also suffer penalties (avoid all stealth gear with light, such as the Hunter's Cloak, like the plague, unless it's night time).

Ah right, well thanks alot for that guys i actually didn't know that it switches around, i think its cause my PC is human aswell its like he may aswell be blind haha.
