Selune: Godess of pureness and good, so we are lead to believe.

Introduction:

The truth is far from such. Selunites openly corroborate with werewolves, and other monstrous beasts attracted to the light of the moon.

The werewolves of Ymph come out during the night, they stalk the lands, walking silently, ever watchful. The lands of Ymph are dangerous as it is, but with selunite priests offering assistance to these creatures they flock closer to the city's boundaries.

A history of Selunites:

Ever since the begging of time, selunites have worked to spread the word of the moonmaiden, teaching people of her ways and her aversion to evil.

Though this may seem well and good, this is but the thin ice on top of a deep lake. Secrets of the moon have confounded astronomers for centuries. Some claim too much exposure to the moon can even cause "moon madness" (see figure 1).

If the lady of silver was goodly and aidful of her followers, why is it that she allows men to fall prey to sickness of the mind? Why is it that these creatures who prey in her light, still savage those whom offer her prayer?

A history of werewolves:

Werewolf are humans or other races with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf or an anthropomorphic wolf-like creature, either purposely, by being bitten or scratched by another werewolf, or after being placed under a curse. This transformation is often associated with the appearance of the full moon.

Moon madness is a considerable argument for the creation of the first werewolves. Moonmadness that was alowed to become cause and effect. These people, often referred to as lunatics. Which is actually derived from the word "lunar" another way to describe the moon itself.

What can you do to prevent your family becoming werewolves and moonmad?

The answer is simple, do not trust selunites. They care and encourage the lycans to breed and spread. It is rumoured that their clergy itself is infiltrated by these beasts.

For the common man, if you see a selunite priest, turn the other way. Take care if you must talk to them, not to let them scratch you, or even to stare in their gaze. The powers of the goddess of the moon has gifted them with strange, un-checked and un-natural abilities.

Selunites, uncovered. Those who read this book I hope you now how a good idea of what to look for, and a better understanding of the intent of the silver maid.
